Water Walker Sea Kayaks was started by Ray Wirth in 1998
when he realized his obsession with kayaking couldn't be sated by paddling
alone, and that starting a small business would be a good excuse to have lots
of kayaks around, and a way to meet other kayakers and spend lots of time
talking about kayaks. Water Walker is the result of a passion for kayaking and
of a search for affordably priced, fast, responsive, and seaworthy fiberglass
boats. To keep prices down, we keep a small inventory relative to that of many
kayak shops. However, if we don't have the boat you want, we can help you get
it -- either direct from the manufacturer or from another dealer. We ship nationwide if no dealer near you. Because we work with manufacturers who do not have a large national retail presence, we have aggressively investigated ways to ship fiberglass kayaks safely and economically. We choose reliable shippers, package kayaks carefully, and take the time to ensure shipments are successful. In some cases, we can have your kayak shipped direct from the manufacturer, which saves on shipping costs and helps us keep our prices low. Click here for more information on distance buying.
