Our shop is usually open weekdays 3:00 to 7:00 and weekends 9:00 to 5:00 but these hours can be irregular (gotta get out on the water), so please telephone or e-mail us in advance. Feel free to telephone us up until 9:30 pm Eastern time. If these hours don't work for you, please give us a call or send an email and we'll work something out.

We respond to most e-mails within 24 hours.

Location: Belfast is on US Route 1, in the heart of Maine's midcoast, near the mouth of Penobscot Bay. From Belfast, you can paddle to Moose Point State Park, Islesboro and its many small islands, Warren Island (part of the Maine Island Trail), and beyond. We are just 25 minutes from Rockport, which was recently named by Canoe and Kayak Magazine as one of the top 5 paddling towns in the United States. We are within a 60 minute drive of paddling areas such as Acadia National Park, Deer Isle, Castine, and Camden. Plan to visit us on your next paddling vacation!
