Sea Kayaking day trip from Tenants Harbor, Maine
Date: July 31 - August 1, 2008

Location: Tenants Harbor, Western Penobscot Bay, Maine
Rate: $180.00 per person (or $160.00 per person if providing own boat and gear).
Deposit is 50% of total and is fully refundable subject to our policies.
| Tour Details: 2 Days. Suited to paddlers with some experience and above. (Physically fit novices will also do very well). Tenants Harbor to Camden. Paddle out of quiet boat-filled Tenants Harbor and then head northeast Northern, High, Clark, Seavey, Norton, and Whitehead Islands -- and that's all before lunch on the first day. Continue north past Spruce Head Island and then turn up the Weskeag River to the Weskeag Inn. Day 2 highlights include Birch Point Beach, Ash Island, Monroe Island, and Owls Head (lighthouse and high rocky cliffs). $180.00 per person (includes kayak, gear, guide service, instruction, shuttle service, snacks, and digital photos). $20.00 discount if you have your own boat and gear. Please note: lodging arrangements are made separately by participants -- we provide a list of suggested inns. Lodging costs average $100.00 - $160.00 per night for two people. PLEASE NOTE: the amount paid as a deposit is 50% of the total fee for the tour. The balance is due upon completion of the tour and may be paid by cash, check or credit card. |
