Days of Our Eagles: Wildlife Drama on Basin Pond

It’s early spring in Maine. The pair of eagles that are resident here at Basin Pond fortified their already impressive nest in February and laid their eggs in March. The days we would see them mirroring each other in the air currents above the pond or perched together in a tree are over for now.
