Reservations:
To ensure you get the dates you want for a kayak tour, lesson, or rental, we encourage you to reserve the date several weeks in advance, if possible.
If you’ve waited until last minute, please contact us anyway because with a little luck there might still be an opening.
Deposits & Refunds:
A deposit of 50% of the total fee will hold the date(s) you want. If you are reserving within one week of the activity, we ask for full payment.
Deposits can be made by credit card or check.
Deposits are fully refundable if you cancel at least two weeks in advance. The deposit amount is 50% refundable if you cancel less than two weeks but more than two days in advance. (Any pre-payment amount that exceeds the required deposit is fully refundable).
Deposits can be made by calling 207-513-0157 or by emailing us. (We will then send an online invoice (payable via your credit card and a secure server).
Cancellations:
If you are forced to cancel a trip for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible. Refunds are subject to the policy described under “Deposits” above.
Weather Cancellations:
Paddling is an all-weather sport and cancellations due to rain, fog, or wind are uncommon. Participants should be prepared to go rain or shine (and often some of both!) And we hope that participants will find that each type of weather offers its own unique beauty and challenges.
In a case when weather or other environmental conditions are determined by the guide to make the trip unsafe or inappropriate — high winds, rough seas, or continuous heavy rain — you will have a choice of a full refund or applying your deposit toward the next available date.
