We offer kayak day trips in the Acadia Region, Schoodic Peninsula, and Blue Hill Peninsula for beginning and experienced paddlers.

Acadia / Schoodic Region

Sorrento to the Sea 
–Departs from Sorrento Harbor
–This day tour features picturesque coastal islands, abundant marine life, and spectacular views of the islands of Acadia National Park/Mount Desert Island.
Wednesday, July 12 (FULL)  | Friday, Aug. 11 — (click a date to reserve) — and on request.
9 AM to 4 PM.  Sorrento Harbor to Preble, Calf, Stave, and Jordan Islands.  This tour provides continuous views of the mountains of Acadia and has become one of our personal favorites.  Stave Island with its pink granite cliffs, in particular, is a gem to paddle along and explore on foot.  $125.00 per person (includes kayak, gear, guide service, instruction, lunch, snacks, and digital photos). $20.00 discount if you have your own boat and gear. Blue Hill Peninsula & Beyond

Sunday Sojourn Adventure Series

–Offered via special arrangement with our sister outfitter on the opposite shore of the bay
–Trips in the Sunday Sojourn Adventure Series are full-day trips recommended for intermediate paddlers looking to explore more and learn more along the coast of Maine.
Sign up for one or more dates: Sundays, May through October. Click here to see locations and dates. Locations include Castine/Cape Rosier area, Naskeag Point, and Milbridge. Island Lunch included.

Other possibilities include paddling out of other harbors on the Schoodic Peninsula, paddling west through the Bar Islands, and even — if the weather is right — rounding Schoodic Point. Contact us with questions and ideas.
